Since September 2022, we have gained Pearson accreditation to run the International BTEC courses at post 16. We are already accredited to offer Pearson Edexcel qualifications from IGCSE up to A Level since 2021
We now offer: Creative Media and Music Production qualifications; re-sits of IGCSE courses and AS / A levels within certain subjects.

This course is 100% internally assessed:
• It is highly practical and progression focused – all assessment is holistic, based on portfolios of work. Evidence is generated through practical projects, briefs, workshops and engagement with the creative media industry.
The International BTEC prepares learners for progression to employment in the creative media industry through the development of portfolios and materials for progression.
It is multidisciplinary and includes: graphic and lens, text, experience, sound, moving image, character and environment.

This course is 100% internally assessed:
• The course encompasses applied learning that brings together knowledge and understanding with practical and technical skills. This applied learning is achieved through learners performing vocational tasks.
Learners are given opportunities to: • write up the findings of their own research • use case studies to explore complex or unfamiliar situations • carry out projects for which they have choice over the direction and outcomes • demonstrate practical and technical skills using appropriate tools/ processes.
Learners plan and create a collaborative music product in response to a client brief; they also take optional units that focus on particular specialisms within music, for example, performing, composing, recording or live sound.
